I think I might have felt the baby move this weekend! I was at Sandra's surprise shower sitting and chatting with Uncle David when I felt a flicking on my insides. It was so weird that I just dismissed it. Then it happened again later while Keri and I were driving home. It was a very distinct flick. Like someone flicking your hair and you can feel it on your scalp. I don't know how else to describe it. I've only felt it once again since then, but I'm pretty sure it was the baby moving. So weird! I thought it was too early to feel movement, so I looked it up and apparently between 12-25 weeks is the norm. That's a huge range! I'm very in tune with my body, so I can easily differentiate a gas bubble from uterine twinging and such, so I'm sure that's what it was.
At church yesterday, Dave was joking that I could be making up being pregnant and there was no way for him to know it. I quickly reminded him that he saw me POAS, was there for the ultrasounds, saw the baby moving and heard the heartbeat. "Oh yeah", he said. Nerd alert.

that's a good way to discribe it. I always said it felt like when someone is swimming underwater and they swish past you. Does that make sence. I bet you were totally feeling the baby move. It's so fun! It always makes it so real when you start to feel the midget.
It is the coolest thing and the weirdest. Just wait until he gets bigger and it feels like that part in the movie that the alien comes ripping out of her stomach! Did I scare you? Well, it is kind of scary and amazing at the same time!! It is just so foreign to have a little person living inside of you. It's awesome and I am still so excited for you!
