We have a winner!

So I've been skating around baby items of registery to see what piques Dave's interest. It took a few days of prodding to find out what he wants a say in: STROLLERS! I asked him if he wanted to go "test drive" strollers next week after we find out the flavor of the baby and he said, "yes, I totally want to do that!" I was quite taken aback...and then he reminded me that we are giants and he doesn't want to be hunched over pushing a stroller all the time. I did not even think of that. He is a very funny man...he has definite opinions about some things and others he says he doesn't care. He insists he doesn't care about the way the nursery is decorated, but I have a feeling he'll pipe in when I start to pick things out.

So...next week after we find out the official flavor of the baby, we can be seen test driving strollers at Babies R Us ;)

I know what you mean about the taller people hunching over to push strollers. We have a umbrella stroller as a back-up (the airline broke our good one). We were using it at Bass Pro Shop on Sat. and it was horribly short. Make sure you check the customer and safety reviews before buying one. Also, you might want to check on the "buyer protection plan" at R US. I'm out to buy stroller #4!!

As I was going through my book of quotes I steal, I thought of your miscarriage after reading this one..."For every dream that is shattered, another one comes true." So, you need to ease up on worrying (it's not good for the baby anyway) and remember that quote.

I would definately check out the reviews before going, I'm a little OC(obsessive/compulsive) about things like that. If you look online at Babies R Us you can read other parents reviews and it has been so useful for me, especially on big $ purchases. A stroller, or "traveling system" gets pricey along with all the other baby items! It is good to hear what other people have to say about them before wasting your $$$
That is funny about Dave- maybe he heard the phrase "test drive" and that got his attention :)
